Remembering Diana

Every year on August 31, Diana’s former family home, Althorp House, becomes a place of remembrance as well-wishers gather to leave flowers and pay tribute to the late Princess of Wales on the anniversary of her death.
This year, mourners once again visited the Diana Memorial at Althorp, 29 years after her death. Diana is buried on an island in the Round Oval Lake on the estate, making Althorp an especially poignant place for those wishing to remember her. 👸

Meghan Markle helped design her own royal coat of arms? After her 2018 marriage to Prince Harry, Meghan worked closely with the College of Arms to create a design that was intended to be both personal and representative of her life.
The blue shield represents the Pacific Ocean off the California coast, while golden rays symbolize the sunshine of her home state. The three quills represent communication and the power of words, a particularly fitting detail given Meghan’s background as a writer, actress, and advocate.
