King Charles Warned Harry Could 'Embarrass' and Put the Monarchy in 'Peril' as Prince Longs to Come Home

Prince Harry’s upcoming trip to Britain has stirred both hope and anxiety inside royal circles.
The Duke of Sussex is set to attend the WellChild Awards in London on September 8, in what will be his longest stay in the UK since Queen Elizabeth’s death three years ago.
For Harry, it is a chance to reconnect with his roots, while for King Charles, it could be a meeting 'full of peril.'
Royal biographer Tom Bower said, “There would be huge levels of emotion involved if they met. Whatever Charles is facing, he would much prefer to have a good relationship with his son, so I’m sure he wants reconciliation. But he must bear in mind that he’s dealing with someone who could sabotage everything and embarrass him enormously.”

As recounted in royal author Valentine Low’s book, the late Queen reportedly grew tired of exchanging pleasantries and bluntly told the President to 'go to bed' when he overstayed his welcome.
