A clear 57.35% said the monarchy does not need it, while 19.43% said it could happen if both brothers genuinely wanted it. Another 16.11% felt the brothers need to heal, with just 7.10% saying unity is important for the monarchy. 

The comments reflected that divide, with many voters pointing to trust and the damage caused by years of public disagreements as reasons to remain cautious. One voter said Harry and Meghan “have shown they can’t be trusted,” while another argued that “the brothers should try to work together to heal their relationship, primarily for their children.” Others took a more traditional view, with one reader writing, “The brothers need to forgive, forget, and reunite. That’s what a family does.” Most remain unconvinced that reconciliation is needed.
